ECS 2016 Summary

At ECS 2016 we had 80 exhibiting companies and organizations and a record breaking 1,913 visits over two days were recorded at the 11th edition (1,851 in 2015). This year, ECS once again presented a world class conference program with more than 70 sessions and no less than four keynote speakers: Tomas Lagerberg, ABB, Kristina Forsberg, SAAB, Nils Steen, Cisco and Magnus Melander, SMSE & THINGS, all of which attracted a large audience. Many of the other seminars were also completely full. ECS 2016 was inaugurated by Tomas Lagerberg, Manager Automation Solutions, ABB Corporate Research.

The Award Ceremony of The Swedish Embedded Award 2016 was held during the industry reception which was better attended than ever before and the winners in the categories Enterprise and Student were awarded.
