Julie Stenken,

Julie Stenken received her B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Akron, OH (1990), Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Kansas (1995) and was a J. William Fulbright fellow at the Karolinska Institute (1994-1995).  Her dissertation focused on analytical chemistry and calibration aspects of microdialysis sampling in drug metabolism directed by the late Professor Craig Lunte.  Her research has primarily focused on applying microdialysis sampling toward elucidating the biochemical immune responses that occur during the foreign body reaction to implanted materials.  Stenken currently holds the 21st Century Chair in Proteomics at the University of Arkansas.
