In accordance with Swedish Value Added Tax (VAT) requirements, a company or organization from a country outside Sweden with a registered VAT number (or equivalent tax registration number for companies outside of the EU) is not required to pay Swedish VAT for conference fees.
If your affiliation( company, organization, university) has a VAT Number or Tax Registration Number, please have it ready before you start the registration process. Further documentation must be provided on request. The VAT/Tax number needs to be entered during the registration process, it is not possible to enter it later and it will not be possible to reclaim the VAT later.
If you do not register your company´s VAT/TAX number, 25% VAT will be added to the registration fee.
Swedish delegates will pay VAT according to Swedish legislation.

For the US attendees, the number needed for VAT no is called Tax ID or IRS Identification. The precise term is Employer Identification Number (EIN).
VAT is always payable for onsite registrations.
An amendment fee of SEK 500 is applicable for all changes, in regards to VAT number or Tax Registration Number, made after the registration.
Social Events and Accommodaiton
Swedish Value Added Tax (VAT), 25% is always payable for social events not included in the conference fee.
Swedish Value Added Tax (VAT), 12% is always payable for accommodation bookings.
No payments will be made in connection with the registration.
After you have finalised your registration and we have validated your submitted VAT number (if any), the payment process will proceed according to your chosen payment option.
Payments will be accepted by credit card (VISA or Mastercard) or bank transfer.
Payment by credit card
We accept VISA and Mastercard and the transaction will be listed with “Meetagain Konferens” on your credit card statement. For your safety, our payment system is connected to the 3D security bank cooperation for internet payment security. Your card needs to be connected to Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode. Your bank can inform you if your card is connected or otherwise how it can be connected. Please check with your bank if they have a block for overseas payment or a limit for which amount that can be charged on the same date. These are also problems that can block your payment.
Upon choice of payment method “Credit card” on the registration form, you will receive an updated confirmation including link to secure payment by credit card. The link address will go to DIBS Payment Services.
Payment by bank transfer
An administration cost of SEK 150 will be added when choosing payment by bank transfer.
Upon choice of payment method “Bank transfer” on the registration form, you will receive an invoice including bank transfer information such as bank account, IBAN, etc. The invoice will be sent as a pdf attachment by e-mail.
