Welcome to the Nordic Open Science Conference 2018

When: 15-16 November 2018
Where: Stockholm City Conference Center (Folkets Hus), Barnhusgatan 12-14, Stockholm
Getting there: http://www.stoccc.se/en/contact/getting-here/

How far have the Nordic countries reached when it comes to addressing open science? What incentives and rewards are needed to engage scientists to openly share their research? And how do we involve other parts of society more closely in research? These were a few of the questions being discussed during the Nordic Open Science Conference 2018.

The general purpose of the conference was to provide an opportunity for researchers, policymakers, universities, research councils and other active organisations from the Nordic countries to meet and exchange experiences and ideas relating to open science. The conference was organised in conjunction with Sweden's Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers in order to strengthen Nordic collaboration within this area.

You can watch the film from the conference here and on the Swedish Research Council´s (Vetenskapsrådet) YouTube channel.
