The Ministry of the Environment in Finland and The Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning in Sweden take the initiative to bring together the Nordic construction authorities and the foremost in academia and construction industry to begin work on Nordic harmonization on climate emissions. The forum is organised in collaboration with the Nordic Council of Ministers. We expect about 100+ people from the Nordic countries, about 20 people per country. The language of the event will be English.

The purpose of the conference
- Purpose – To start dialogue on Nordic approach for steering the climate impacts from the built environment in order to reduce the construction industry's climate emissions.
- Objective - Nordic co-operation and implementation of decisions on Nordic harmonization of building regulations from the meeting with the Nordic Council of Ministers the 29 of May 2018 in Stockholm. Get a common picture of the latest situation in the Nordic countries when it comes to regulations on climate impacts from the built environment from a life-cycle perspective. Get a common picture of the research and knowledge situation. The objective is also to identify areas for Nordic harmonization, methodological development, digitalisation and continued work.
