ECS 2015 Summary
At ECS 2015 we had 112 exhibiting companies (including the Arrowhead partners) and a record breaking 1,851 visits over two days were recorded at the 10 year anniversary edition (1,504 in 2014). This year, ECS once again presented a world class conference program with more than 60 sessions and keynote speakers such as Daniel Frylmark from Scania CV and Prof. William Webb from Weightless SIG and IET, both of which attracted a large audience. Many of the other seminars were also completely full. New in 2015 was the collaboration with Swedsoft and their workshop STEW - Software Technology Exchange Workshop - which was held in parallel with ECS, as well as the EU project Arrowhead, which had their own track in the conference program (Automation based on IoT) and a demo area in the exhibition. ECS 2015 was inaugurated by Dr Sara Mazur, Head of Research, Ericsson.

The sold out Embedded Dinner Party, which was held on the first evening, was once again a fun evening with good food and great entertainment. The Award Ceremony of The Swedish Embedded Award was held during the party and the winners in the categories Enterprise, Student and Micro/Nano were awarded.
