Meeting Venue
Our venue for WGPAT 2026 is Professorboligen in the city center, right next to University Square and Karl Johans gate.
Professorboligen was built in the mid-19th century as a residence for university professors. The building has been an
important part of the history of University of Oslo and has housed many renowned academics over the years.
Today, the residence is no longer used as a private home but instead serves as a representative venue for the university.

The address is Karl Johans gate 47, in the very centre of Oslo. From here, there is easy access to public transportation, hotels, restaurants, and the city’s cultural attractions. Its central location makes Professorboligen easily accessible for both local and visiting guests.
