Call For Abstracts


Abstract Submission Information

The abstract submission deadline has been extended to April 30th 2022 (19:00 CEST)
No further extensions can be expected.

The abstract word limit is max. 250 words per abstract. 

  • Please use generic names only.  Product or brand names are not allowed in the abstract title or abstract text. A brand name can be inserted as a reference at the bottom of the abstract page.

  • The abstract must include the following:

    • Aim: State the purpose of the study

    • Methods: Describe your subjects and observations

    • Results: Results in a logical sequence in text, table and illustrations

    • Conclusions: Brief factual conclusions

  • You are allowed to include up to 1 image and 1 table alongside the written text, not counted towards the word count.

  • It is not permitted to submit work that has been published and/or is likely to be published before the Neurodiab 2022 Abstract submission deadline (April 30th, 18:00hrs. CEST). The Neurodiab 2022 Committee has the right to remove an abstract if this contains data that has already been published. However, we will accept the submission of abstracts that have been presented in recent months at local or national diabetes meetings (e.g DUK, ADA, DDG).

  • The presenting author must register as an active participant at the conference within 14 days after acceptance of an abstract. Early bird registration fee will be available!

  • The conference team reserves the right to exclude any abstract that is not followed by a participant registration at the latest 14 days after notification of acceptance.

  • Once all submission steps have been successfully completed and the abstract deadline has passed, the presenting author will receive a notification confirming the final version of the abstract submission.
