About Neurodiab

NEURODIAB is the Diabetic Neuropathy Study Group founded in 1990 with the aim to promote research and education on all
the aspects of diabetic neuropathy.

Its main prerogatives throughout more than 30-year history have been:

• cooperation between diabetologists and other specialists involved in diabetic neuropathy;
• interaction between basic and clinical researchers and attempt at translating preclinical science into clinical application;
• promotion of participation of young investigators through Young investigators awards for pre-clinical and clinical science and Awards for the best presentations as well as special registration fees;
• international exchanges with a full opening, since the beginning, to all European and many non-European countries and regions as US, Canada, Japan, Korea, South America, Asia, and Africa;
• the role of network and forum for most researchers in the area.

The annual meeting has a central role in Neurodiab life. It is an expected appointment to meet the world's leading scientists in the field, to take the opportunity of new ideas generation and collaborations, in a friendly atmosphere where it is possible to fuel and share the same research interests and commitments to reduce the burden of diabetic neuropathy for people with diabetes.
